Don't you hate that. For me it's often the pressure of knowing it might be my only shot at a decent wave when it's crowded.

I was quite surprised to find no one else on it and my way clear. But as the old shortboarder who cheered me into it said when I re-surfaced, the waves were "really throwing on that set," and I got thrown.
There was only one wave that was all mine tonight at the packed Hook, and I didn't make the 4' drop. Damn.
